We have an immediate opportunity in our New York office for an Assistant Multi-Life Coordinator, working on the core of Lenoxs business corporate endorsed insurance. This position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of case setup and administration.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Working extensively with Microsoft Access and Excel performing a variety of operations related to databases: V-lookups, compares, data mining, data maintenance, calculations, mail merges, etc. Analyzing and preparing census data for insurance enrollments including eligibility analysis, benefit analysis, existing benefit information, alerts and formatting for upload to an online enrollment tracking system. Maintaining master multi-life database and various other multi-life databases using Microsoft Access and Excel. Creating and preparing sales material to present to potential corporate clients. Creating enrollment materials and securing approvals. Preparing mailings to eligible employees. Coordinating meeting schedules and preparing materials for each enrollment training and progress meeting. Providing support to CAO, Multi-Life Coordinator and sales producers on all issues throughout enrollments. Assisting with ongoing case administration including tracking, reporting, applications, billing, new hires, terminations, etc. Providing support to staff on pre-sale, pre-underwriting and underwriting issues as necessary. Training staff on illustrations, processes and procedures, and proper use of the online multi-life enrollment tracking system.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail oriented, computer savvy individual with 1-2 years prior experience in the insurance or financial services field. Candidates must have a college degree, be highly organized, a self starter, and have the ability to communicate and interact effectively with a sales force. Microsoft Access and Excel proficiency a must. Life & Health license preferred.
